Nagisa and Jason met through a mutual friend, made contact on March 11, 2011—the day of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit the island—and decided to link their lives together. And on a gorgeous September day, they did just that. Surrounded by friends and family from around the globe, the couple held their wedding in the pristine setting of Calistoga Ranch, a 50-room luxury resort in Upper Napa Valley. Despite the fact that the couple worked with Little Blue Box Weddings from more than 5,000 miles away, the day was made of perfection, and the bride and groom were thrilled with the beautiful results.
The couple has long since returned to the excitement and bustle of their home in Tokyo, but their elegant wine country wedding in the Napa Valley will always remain a special day in their hearts.
